A large family gathers together in a vineyard with the valley behind them.

Kids grow. Parents age. The house you are in now becomes the one you used to live in. Family photographs hold the season you are standing in before it becomes the one you talk about.

Family portraits in Corvallis and the Willamette Valley

Transitions In Time Photography photographs families in Corvallis, Oregon and across the Willamette Valley, at home, at the park where the kids play ball, in the vineyard where you got engaged, or at our studio. Sessions are relaxed and built around the relationships in your family, then revealed in person and finished as wall art, albums, and archival prints.

Three generations in a field. A Saturday at the ballpark. The last year everyone lives under one roof. Those are family photographs.

Real life, not a formula

Some families want the polished portrait in the vineyard. Some want the Saturday game, the dugout, and the slide into home. We photograph both.

The ones you will love most are usually the ones where nobody was told to smile.

Kids and grandparents

We arrive early and set up before the kids run out of patience, let them move when they need to, and keep the session short enough that everyone is still happy at the end.

With grandparents, we slow down. Those photographs tend to matter most.

What you take home

At the reveal we look at the photographs together and design the wall art for your home, from a single canvas over the couch to a collection down the hall.

Printed in-house, mounted, and ready to hang.

How it works

Family sessions are simple on purpose. Here is what happens.

  1. 01

We talk about who is in the photographs, what your family is like, and where the finished artwork will live.

  2. 02

Your home, a favorite park or field, a vineyard, or our Corvallis studio. We time it for the light and for the kids.

  3. 03

Relaxed and unhurried, with room for play, quiet moments, and the grandparents.

  4. 04

You see the photographs together at the studio, then we design and print the wall art, album, and prints in-house.

If yours isn't here, ask it in the form or by text.

Your story deserves to be remembered beautifully.

Share who is in the photographs, the season you have in mind, and where the finished artwork will live. We meet by appointment in Corvallis and begin with a conversation.
